We start with dynamic pricing models, based on seasons and current occupancy, just like most national management chains often use. However, we have a significant advantage being right here in Nashville, with our fingers on the pulse of what is happening in Music City at any given time. As seasoned locals, we are able to use our expertise to calibrate pricing not generated only by seasons, but on local events and festivals we are tracking.

Local Customer Service

Whether a guest is calling to inquire, reserve your property, or ask specific questions about the Nashville area, or an owner is calling in reference to their property, Playlist staff on the other end of the phone are ALWAYS in Nashville. You will never be shuffled from one department to another and you will always know who you are speaking with. When guests are asking for local recommendations, we tell them about our favorite local spots, as opposed to a customer service representative in another state Googling the nearest restaurant or live music venue. When possible, and almost always in our larger homes, we greet our guests personally at the property. This ensures guests feel greeted with good ole’ Southern Hospitality, and also serves as an extra layer of protection to the integrity of your property. Being in Nashville also allows us to keep a close eye on your property, especially during inclement weather.

Property Review

Playlist reads EVERY review that is posted on EVERY property. Since we are local and are intimately familiar with each property, we are able to actively respond to reviews knowing exactly what a guest is referring to. Whether it is something we can highlight in the listing, or if there is room for enhancement, we are able to both respond and maximize feedback from guest reviews.

Linen Pool

We run a Linen Pool, which means owners simply pay a fair rate to rent the use of our linens for their property. When linens are worn or damaged, owners do not need to be bothered with replacing linens, trying to match the existing sets. We take care of maintaining the linen pool. In addition, with our new laundry facility, our linens are laundered off-site, to OSHA standards. Not only does this provide a safer experience for the guests; blood-borne pathogens, proteins and anything undesireble left behind by previous guests are completely removed when the linens are laundered with the OSHA standard chemicals and temperatures, but this also saves on the wear and tear on your washer and dryer, as well as reduces the water and electric expenses to you associated with laundering the linens in your property.

Housekeeping Staff

Our housekeeping staff are our employees, allowing us more direct control over housekeeping standards and security, as opposed to contracting out the cleaning to various companies. More importantly, we have a trusted, personal relationship with our housekeeping employees, who are working in your property.

Reservation Charges To Owner

Most national management chains charge owners $7+ per reservation for guest amenities. Playlist covers that cost by including it in the guest’s cleaning fee.

Processing Fees

Most national management chains charge owners a processing fee of 2.5% of higher. Playlist Properties is our own merchant of record and has a processing fee of 2.19%.
