Founded by David “Skull” Schulman in 1948, Skull’s Rainbow Room was a success on day one. Skull’s Rainbow Room has hosted some incredible performers like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Andy Griffith. After 50 years of hosting top performers and serving fantastic food, tragedy struck. In 1998, Schulman was killed at his own bar during a robbery. The Rainbow Room closed and remained so for 17 years. After a three-year-long restoration project, Skull’s Rainbow Room in Nashville reopened with the goal of paying tribute to Schulman. Now, the famous bar is back and better than ever!
